What's New: Pants for Fall
Having the proper dress pants for all seasons is just the foundation of a good work wardrobe. Once the temperature drops, switch your light wool or wool-cotton blends for heavier wools. Not only are they warmer, but they’re also more durable and equipped to withstand the harsh and sometime unpredictable Canadian weather.
For those of you looking to build on your foundation pieces we suggest adding some patterns, colours, and texture to your collection. My personal favourite are these Stones wool windowpane plaid trousers for $195. Another great option are these awesome purple and grey plaid wool pants by Hiltl priced at $250. Retro details and patterns are really hot right now and the best way to wear them is to pair them with a nice solid coloured slim fit shirt.
If you’re just starting off your work wardrobe, we recommend going with a neutral pallet as it offers you flexibility when pairing with items you may already own. The subtle pattern on these Drykorn pants priced at $250 is a great start. You can easily match this with an array of great dress shirts and blazers in multiple different colours. If you're looking for something a bit more classic you can’t go wrong with these brown wool Strellson pants at $195.
Hiltl navy wool pants $255 and Hiltl light grey wool pants $250.
Since we are on the subject of pants for Fall, I can't help but mention how utterly comfortable and amazing Hiltl pants are. Hiltl has been in business since 1955 and has devoted themselves to making only one thing, trousers. As such, the quality and precision in their garments is unsurpassed. Staying true to their craft, when you purchase a Hiltl pant you are getting troussers made of wool that are not only durable but incredibly comfortable. If you’re starting to build your wardrobe or just adding to it, these are a great pick.
As a famous essayist once said, "Buying quality is the best way to invest money" and buying a Hiltl trouser is undoubtably a great investment.
Another great basic heavy wool pant by Strellson for $225.
