Pamela on Grooming: Spring Hair Fashion 2010

April always brings a new crop of fashion trends and this season we are seeing not just one but many… like spring flowers! Thankfully the onset of one style has gone by the wayside honouring the professions, personalities and external persona’s of all the male specially. (?)

True Short Classic

This spring season we are seeing the True Short Classic – tight sides with a little longer on the top. When in doubt of what suits you go with the classic. It is a very handsome groomed look!

Geek Chic (pronounced “sheek”)

For those underground nerds, this is a short classic with tight sides and either a faux or proper/pronounced side part. It is an interpretation of the traditional classic cut that has been given new freedom. Perfect for those that feel the seriousness of business instilled by our forefathers but still need their fashion… add a chunky pair of glasses to add more seriousness and fashion!

Renegade Chic

For those that love their shorter cuts with an edge. This cut is chopped into adding a multitude of texture and movement. Feel like setting a trend amidst your business associates and friends? This speaks confidence and individual style. If you have found a length that works and want to crank up the volume, this is the cut for you!

Urban Rock

Thank goodness long hair has been now accepted as a hairstyle! These cuts embody length with layers. The layers kindly add shape to the face and create a more groomed look for business or a more dressed up occasion! Add a little groomed beard scruff and the urban rock look has been nailed!

And a heads up to the macho men - mustaches and muscles are two great symbols of machismo. Staches are back as per carstache.com!

Photos were scanned directly from my hair bible (a timeless collage of great hair styles). Feel free to come by and see it!

The season of choices has arrive and nothing adds more brilliance to life! I am looking forward to helping you create your new spring hair fashion expressions!
