Festival Fashion | Wayhome
What's your Wayhome style?
As Canadians, our summers are short. We've got about three months to soak up that sweet vitamin D. The short little season is probably why we're so obsessed with summer music festivals.
Festival season hits it's like a therapeutic release. We drop our 9-5 attitudes and uncomfortable dress shirts set our minds are free and live.
This is why music festival fashion gets a little adventurous. Head to toe prints- and dare we say it, short shorts. Also, most people are drunk for three days straight.
Music is an expression that leads festival style and fashion follows. So if you're heading to Wayhome here are three acts you can't miss- and three looks to match.
Allan Rayman hails from TO. His music is raw and a little bit moooody.
You'll need A basic men's tank top we like this one from Funked because the neck is slightly higher- giving it a cleaner look sans chest hair. Black pants with stretch, because ya gonna need some room to dance. Josh is wearing a black slim fit pant from Archer the Fourth. Complete with a pair of high-top Converse or Vans.
Levi's denim jacket // Neuw Skinny Black Denim // Garment Project High Top // Basic Black T-Shirt
Flume is an Australian record producer. Expect future bass and electronic experimental vibes. Naturally, a look to match.
You'll need a psychedelic print shirt. Fresh white (short) shorts (featured J. Lindeberg Wimbledon Short). Almost certainly you will need a raincoat. For rainwear, we're only recommending the lightweight, compact rain jacket from Rains.
Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires are an American funk/soul/R&B singer, signed to the Daptone Records label.
You'll need Feel inspired by Charles' funky rock star vibe. For a 60's vibe, we used the LAB Pal Zaliri color block polo. A polo and swims loafers are the classiest you can get at a festival without ruining your Gucci loafers.
