Apres Ski

Après Ski Chic

It’s a new year and although in Ontario we were recently hit with new restrictions, we’re thankful about ski season being finally here. One of the biggest trends this winter is - Après Ski. Places like Whistler are seeing an increase in snow, and since having fun in the city is now obsolete, we are looking for our next vacation. So if you decide to stay local and hit up Blue Mountain in Ontario, or if instead you venture to our other beautiful ski towns like Mont Tremblant in Quebec, Whistler in Vancouver or Banff in Alberta. And, if you’re a little more adventurous and decide to do some overseas traveling to some of the best ski destinations like France, Italy, Switzerland and of course our neighbours in the US, we have the perfect looks for you.

The Ski-Bum

Our ski-bum loves the winter, and she knows that staying warm is just as important as staying fashionable. This lady is adventurous, she lives for colour and print and of course our seasoned skier loves to make a splash. Fun goggles and groovy ski gear are already part of her look, and so she needs the perfect outfit to compliment her gear. For this girl we’ve paired our bright blue puffer, with matching mittens, from Canadian brand- Save the Duck, with a tie-dye jacquard patterned sweater and a marble design terry sweatpant from LA based brand- Rails. With so much colour she’ll never be out of fashion.

The Fashionista

Who said you can’t stay trendy while you’re staying active? Matching sets have played a huge part in women’s fashion this year. We’ve paired this bright and modern sweatsuit from Scandinavian brand- Sofie Shnoor, designed with some interesting shoulder detailing, with this glossy and very cozy puffer from Save the Duck. And of course, never forget to accessorize, our knitted headbands are the perfect addition. Our fashionista will rock this ensemble and steal all of the looks on and off the hill.

Snow-Bunny

The Snow-Bunny thrives in the winter. She is aware of her setting, and because of this she prioritizes her comfort and knows how important it is to stay warm all day. Nevertheless, she looks great while doing so. Our snow-bunny will transition seamlessly from embracing the cold to indulging in a little aprés ski fun, all she has to do is shed a layer when she’s done for the day. We’ve opted for this down filled, off-white sweatsuit from LA based brand- Holden. The brand specializes in the blend of performance and fashionable pieces in luxury materials and cutting-edge technology. We’ve paired this with a splash of colour in the form of a puffer from Save the Duck. Our snow-bunny can comfortably hit the powder and the bar.

The Socialite

This girl did not go to the mountains to ski, she went for the party. Practicality is not her priority, she wants the hot cocoa, the warm cocktails, and the chic outfits, without having to hit the slopes. Our socialite is so fashion-forward that although she’s not out there all-day, she’ll never look out of place in the après. Our girl is cool and cannot shake the city out of her so we’ve paired this eye-catching sherpa puffer from Dutch brand- Rino and Pelle with some sultry blacks. The puffer offers a balance between luxury and comfort and the black buttery boucle-like texture of the graphic sweater from California brand- Spiritual Gangster paired with the sheen from our 7 for All Mankind leggings will guarantee that our girl will be the life of the party at the chalet.
