With only seven in the world, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) joins the ranks of London, Paris and Milan as one of the only cities on the planet to host a male-focused style event. Premiering this August 11-15th at the The Fairmont Royal York (100 Front St W, Toronto), TOM* is a pioneering initiative that aims to increase the profile and visibility of our ultra brilliant menswear designers.
Ranked as one of the best menswear stores in the country, it’s completely fitting that we are involved in this exciting sartorial affair. Gotstyle is proud to announce our return to the runway- dressing some of your favourite homegrown celebrities-Toronto Raptor Greivis Vasquez, design guru Karim Rashid, writer and producer Tyler Armes, and Toronto’s latest bachelor, Tim Warmels for the Men’s Fashion4Hope presentation happening Aug 13th at 8:00PM.
About MEN’S FASHION4HOPE Campaign:
Today’s modern man demonstrates class, strength, and compassion. To reflect this, Toronto Men’s Fashion week has launched the MensFashion4Hope campaign, an initiative that fuses fashion and charity together, through the Kol Hope Foundation for Children and SickKids Hospital.
The Kol Hope Foundation is a Canadian charitable organization, the first of its kind in North American that provides support for children born with Trisomy-related disabilities. The foundation is named after Kol, who was born with Trisomy 13, a fatal genetic syndrome. Kol was diagnosed to live only three months, but against all odds he lived for fourteen years. He is the story and inspiration behind Kol Hope Foundation for Children. Kol Hope is proud to have SickKids, Easter Seals, and World Vision as its Canadian beneficiaries.
To support the Kol Hope Foundation, MensFashion4Hope will be hosting a celebrity fashion show presented by GOTSTYLE during Toronto Men’s Fashion week. During the event, celebrities will be showing their support and walking the runway in the latest in men’s fashion and design to raise funds for the Kol Hope Foundation. All proceeds raised by the MensFashion- 4Hope celebrity fashion show will be donated to the Kol Hope Foundation for Children at SickKids Hospital.
Along with the charity fashion show, MensFashion4Hope will be hosting a raffle draw for several incredible prizes donated by our sponsors (i.e. WestJet, East Thirty-Six, GOTSTYLE). There is also a campaign in the Toronto community by placing donation boxes for the Kol Hop Foundation at various locations in the GTA. All proceeds from MensFashion- 4Hope raffle draw and community donations box initiatives will be donated to the Kol Hope Foundation at SickKids.
